12k/5k Race Marshal for 12k's for the Holidays, Annual Charity Run for The Good Samaritan Center

The Good Samaritan Center has an annual fundraiser, 12k's for the Holidays, a charity run that takes place in North Fondren at The Cedars, 4145 Old Canton Road, on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025. This post is for 12k/5k ADULT RUN RACE MARSHALS. Those that sign-up on this shift will be contacted about training. Race Marshal Training will fall Monday, Nov. 17th, 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at The Good Samaritan Center located at 114 Millsaps Avenue, Jackson, MS 39202.  Participants will also need to provide a cell phone number to The Director of Volunteers. The Race Marshals role is to stand on an assigned location along the route to help direct the runners, as well as watch for traffic.
